I got it because I broke a bone in my foot and could not run, but could use an elliptical. I used the mini to stay in shape. I have been telling everyone about how much I enjoy it. I am running again, but use it still. Yes, I would and do recommend it. You can use it without any handle, but I keep a chair in front of me just in case. I push it under the coffee table.

this elliptical is great. I work graveyard shift in an office and I keep this under my desk and pull it out when there isnt much to do (which is often). whats cool is that you can use it as a bike too. I love that. my coworker laughs but she loves it :) I was concerned about balancing on it when i picked it out but i actually feel really safe on it. The only kind of downside is it is a little heavy to haul around so I dont really take it back and forth to work. I just leave it under my desk. Although on the flip side to that i am sure that if it wasn't so heavy then it wouldn't be so safe. I am very happy with this purchase :)

I bought the Stamina InMotion E-1000 because I wanted to start exercising and getting into shape, but I’m not a gym kind of person. This is the perfect little motivator. I keep it in my bedroom, near the TV, and I hop on it whenever I have a few minutes. Whether its 10 minutes in the morning or 45 minutes when I get home, its staring me in the face. It’s also really quiet and takes up very little space (which were both important to me). It’s not an eye soar in the middle of the room. It works really well too, although when I started I needed to hold on to something for balance. It has nice, smooth strides and it has built up my stamina and balance after only one week. I went from barely being able to stay on it for 10 minutes to staying on it for 30 minutes with no problem. It also has a resistance knob, which will come in handy when I want to increase the intensity of my workout. One caveat though, the strides on this elliptical are very small, so if you are not small like me (5’2”) then it might be hard to balance. It will probably be fine for anyone under 5’7,” any taller, you might fall off. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I have already lost 2 pounds. I can't keep myself off of it because it is so convenient!!

I have never had a elliptical machine, but I am very pleased with this one. I enjoy working out on it and will continue to use it in my fitness training because of being able to leave it in place, which makes it convenient. The stride for me is good but I am a small person so that is one thing that you want to make sure of if you want to invest in it.

Its really hard to keep your balance. I am using poles to hold on to for balance.

This is the first elliptical I have ever used. I did not take into account how much the stride of the machine would be a factor in the comfort level while using an elliptical. If you are 6' or taller this definitely is not the product to buy. I ended up giving mine to my 3'8" nephew and it is great for him.

The price was great! It was easy to put together! Everything seemed great, except one thing. It was too small. This would be an excellent product for children or small framed adults not for someone over 6' such as myself, unless you jog or walk in baby steps.

I think that it would be good supplemental equipment for low impact aerobics. It is hard to use or balance oneself on a higher resistance mode. but overall a good change of pace to the more expensive and bigger trainer.

At first, I thought the step was way too short to be effective. It is much shorter than full size machines. I think it is at least as effective as walking, and wouldn't recommend it for anything more.

I have been really busy with work and have not had the time to go to the gym lately so I decided on this machine after reading some wonderful reviews. It was reasonably price compared to [...]. I decided to order it online [...] It was very easy to assemble. It definitely works you lower body. You feel it in you thighs, butt, calves, and abs. I love it and would buy it again. Its so easy to use that my 5 year old will get on and use it sometimes. I can move it to whatever room I want to use it in or even outside with no problems. Great product!!

It's easy to use and small enough to store in my apartment. The short stride is sometimes awkward and can cause knee pain if you aren't careful.

This slides out from under a daybed (abt 1ft clearance)with ease. A bit of a balance issues for anyone who has those considerations.
